Do your research! - I was listening to Badlands today and decided to re-read the biography of the band on Yahoo Music. When I clicked on the Albums link for the group I saw this album listed, among others. I was excited too of the prospect of more music from the Jake Lee group but I was skeptical that they had released any. A quick internet search will tell you that these newer albums have nothing to do with the Lee/Gillen band.
This IS NOT THE LEGENDARY BADLANDS YOU KNOW & LOVE! ! - Who is Jake e. lee,hmmm? Really? This is some of the most boring music ive heard in awhile.Jake e. Lee,Ray Gillen,Eric Singer & Greg Chaisson commanded & deserve the utmost respect for being one of the best blues based hard rock bands of all time,alongside thin lizzy & a few others & well..This particular badlands incarnation is pure rubbish & someone should have done their homework & realized this name was taken & trying to name this failed attempt at something barely listenable to anyone BADLANDS WAS A BAD IDEA!its just that simple! now,mr.we dont like you-go ahead & TRY AGAIN,PAL! Learn to rock,change your bands name & best wishes!
Badlands - Hands Of Time - I too, made the same mistake thinking this was Jake E. Lee s band. I was in a record store when I found this and thought, Wow, something new from Jake, maybe some unreleased tunes. I was greatly disappointed.
